Special Education

We strive to provide an inclusive Islamic community based learning environment to our Special Needs students and their families. Our goal is to ensure that our students have the same Sunday School benefits as the rest of the student body. We have a dedicated Special Needs classroom that is designed to cater to all of the needs of our program. Our volunteers dedicate their time, their compassion and their energy to ensure that our students have a fun and safe learning environment.

We have partnered with MUHSEN to develop our Sunday School Special Needs program. And we continue to work with them to ensure that our program meets the evolving needs of our student body.

Muhsen's Mission

Muhsen is a non – profit umbrella organization serving the community to establish a more inclusive “Special Friendly” environment for our Brothers & Sisters of all Disabilities. Muhsen will advocate, educate, train and implement programs and services nationwide to improve access to Masajids for Disabled and Special Needs individuals as well as acceptance and inclusion by the community in all aspects.

Please follow the normal Sunday School registration process. When filling out the information for your child, please state Special Needs in the "Other Details" section.

Once you have registered, please notify us at the email address above about your Special student. Our program is currently at capacity. But unlike the regular Sunday school, we do accept students during the school year if seats opens up. If we do accept your child to the program in the middle of the school year, your registration payment and volunteer requirements will be prorated. Proration is based on total school days remaining divided by the total school days for the year.
